To ensure the good performance and long-lasting use of the image plate scanner, as well as to help improve work efficiency and operational safety, it is necessary to maintain the equipment in accordance with the guidelines.
1. Daily maintenance
1.1 The imaging plate must be packed in an image protection bag during filming. After filming, tear the protection bag from the cutout. When the main unit is ready, take out the imaging plate and insert it into the main unit to read the image.
1.2 The imaging plate needs to be cleaned and wiped with a dust-free cloth after use.
1.3 After use, please make sure to place the imaging plate in the protective bag and storage box, and avoid contact with strong light sources and liquids.
1.4 The imaging plate must not be placed in a steriliser or autoclave. The patient must not be asked to bite on the imaging plate. No force, bending, or pulling can be applied to the imaging plate.
1.5 The equipment must be operated according to normal procedures. Do not forcibly cut off the power or forcibly close the software to prevent the equipment from getting stuck or the software database from being lost.
2. Regular maintenance
2.1 Wipe the surface of the equipment with alcohol after regular power-off.
2.2 To prevent data loss, it is recommended to back up the database and important images regularly.
3. Check and replace accessories
3.1 Check the image board regularly. If it is severely worn, replace it in time.
3.2 Before each use, check whether the power cord and socket of the equipment are connected properly to prevent the equipment from failing to operate normally, power short circuit or leakage, etc.
3.3 Before filming, it is necessary to confirm that the status of the equipment is ready.
4. Protection and Storage
4.1 Caution and prevention of electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) with other equipment.
4.2 The equipment will generate a certain amount of radiation, it is recommended to store and use the equipment in a separate isolated room.
