To ensure the good performance and long-lasting use of the ultrasonic periodontal therapy system, as well as to help improve work efficiency and operational safety, it is necessary to maintain the equipment in accordance with the guidelines.

1. Daily maintenance

1.1 After tearing off the disposable protective blue film, clean and wipe the surface of the equipment with a damp cloth in time (PS: Alcohol wipes should not be used) to ensure that the equipment is clean, and prevent cross infection.

1.2 After using the medical water in the endo mode, the pipeline needs to be cleaned with pure water or distilled water. Repeat 1-2 times to prevent the pipeline from being corroded and damaged by the medical water.

1.3 Before and after sandblasting, the equipment needs to be flushed with the one-click clean function to make sure that the pipeline is smooth and to clear the residual prophylaxis powder in the pipeline.

1.4 After using the scaler handpiece, clean the surface with water and unscrew the lamp cap at the front end of the handpiece to clean the impurities on the lamp cap and the handpiece lamp position;

Pull out the sandblasting handpiece (rotate while pulling), rinse the handpiece surface and wipe the tail wire connector position, blow dry the handpiece and the tail wire;

After cleaning the handpieces, blow dry and sterilize it with 134℃ high temperature and high pressure. It is recommended to use sterilisation bags for sterilisation.

1.5 Pour out the excess prophylaxis powder in the sand tank after use, and use a medical spray gun to clean the remaining prophylaxis powder in the tank.

2. Regular maintenance

2.1 The sandblasting handpiece needs to be unclogged regularly. It can be unclogged by blowing through the nozzle with a medical spray gun or by using a sandblasting needle. If the blockage is serious, place the sandblasting handpiece in hot or boiling water for 15 minutes before unclogging.

2.2 Clean the water tank regularly and wipe the surface to prevent scale accumulation in the water tank.

2.3 Regularly check and clean the gas/water separator valve at the rear end of the equipment to ensure that the gas source is dry.

3. Inspection and replacement of accessories

3.1 Before each scaling, please make sure that the mode, power and water output are all adjusted and normal before use.

3.2 Before each sandblasting, please make sure the air pressure, prophylaxis powder, sand output and water output are all adjusted and normal before use.

3.3 Regularly check the tail wire connector position, sand tank cover, water tank, air source connector and other accessories to ensure that the sealing rings at the corresponding positions are intact. If worn or damaged, they should be replaced in time to prevent affecting the scaling and sandblasting effects.

3.4 Before heating the water of the equipment, it is necessary to check and confirm that the water heating switch in the setup is on, so as to ensure that the sandblasting tail wire can produce water normally and prevent dry burning.

3.5 Before using the wireless foot pedal, please make sure that there are 2 x No.5 batteries in the foot pedal and the wireless foot switch in the setup is on.

4. Protection and storage

The equipment and consumables should be stored in a dry and ventilated place to avoid moisture and corrosion. In the meantime, the main unit, handpieces and water tank etc., should be protected to avoid impact and damage.
