  • VAFU Maintenance Guide

    1. Daily maintenance

1.1 Operate the equipment according to the rated operating time specified in the instruction manual to avoid damage to the teeth due to high temperature rise. After 5 consecutive operations, the equipment should be switched off until the LED cools down and then switched on again.

1.2 Use disposable isolation sets for protection and strictly prohibit reuse to prevent cross infection.

1.3 Before use, check whether the main unit and lamp head are running normally and whether there are any abnormal sounds. If there are abnormal sounds, turn off the power immediately and contact after-sales personnel for guidance.

1.4 Before each use, check that all light heads are lit to ensure that all LED beads are working properly. If you find that any of the LED beads are not lit or the brightness is significantly reduced, contact the after-sales personnel in time. Wear UV goggles to protect your eyes from UV rays when carrying out inspections.

1.5 Keep the working environment of the equipment clean and dry to prevent the equipment from moisture, damage, electrical leakage and other situations.

1.6 At the end of each treatment, clean the end with a 75% alcohol cotton ball to avoid contamination and reduce the effect of the light guide.

    2. Regular maintenance

2.1 Clean the accessories and the equipment regularly with a soft cloth, avoiding the use of cleaning agents containing chemicals that may damage the equipment.

2.2 Regularly check whether the power cord is damaged or aged to ensure a stable power connection. Avoid equipment failure due to power problems, which can affect treatment progress.

2.3 Regularly measure the light intensity of the LED lamp using the supplied charging base with light intensity measurement function to check whether the light source is attenuated. If the light intensity is insufficient, the lamp head or LED lamp beads need to be replaced.

2.4 If the equipment is not to be used for a long time, the lithium battery must be removed from the main unit for seperate storage.

2.5 Check the LED lamp regularly. If the lamp is visibly damaged or cracked, thus affecting the light, it should be replaced promptly.

    3. Disinfection Instructions

3.1 This equipment is not suitable for high temperature and high pressure sterilisation. For cleaning or sterilization, please wipe them with clean water or disinfectant, and do not soak them; do not use volatile and soluble solvents for cleaning. For alcohol sterilization, it is recommended that users soak a piece of clean dry gauze with 75% ethanol disinfectant, and then wipe the surface of the part to be sterilized twice with the gauze for 3 minutes. Air dry naturally or wipe off the residual disinfectant with a clean, dry cloth.

    4. Precautions

4.1 Make sure the equipment is turned off and the power is disconnected before cleaning and maintenance to avoid electric shock accidents.

4.2 Use appropriate tools and materials to avoid damage to the equipment caused by using inappropriate tools or materials.

4.3 Operate strictly in accordance with the equipment instruction manual and maintenance manual, and do not disassemble or alter the structure of the equipment. If disassembly or repair is required, contact professional maintenance personnel for assistance.

4.4 Please charge the new equipment for more than 8 hours before using it. If the battery is low, please charge it in time to ensure that the battery is not depleted. If not used for a long period of time, the lithium battery must be removed and recharged every 3 months.

4.5 The product must be used for the purpose specified in the instructions and not for any other purpose.

4.6 When used clinically, the light source should be aimed directly at the resin material to be cured, to avoid an incorrect irradiation position which may affect the curing effect.

4.7 Users must use the manufacturer's original shades or goggles, it is strictly prohibited to irradiate the eyes, otherwise it will cause damage to the eyes.

4.8 Please use the original charger, other chargers may cause damage to the lithium battery and the control circuit.

4.9 Do not place metal on the charging base surface as it may burn out the internal electric circuit. When not charging, please unplug the power.

4.10 Please charge the battery in a cool, ventilated room.

4.11 Do not squeeze, vibrate or shake the battery. It is strictly prohibited to short-circuit the battery. It is strictly prohibited to put the battery together with metal objects.
